When I was looking to upgrade from my 46 inch Sony Bravia, which I loved by the way, I looked at everything out there. I read reviews on all the 55 inch models and kept coming back to this Toshiba. It is a beauty. Picture quality is amazing. This tv is Huge compared to my old Sony.
If you are in the market for a 55 inch LCD/LED, this tv is a great choice. It has more features for less money than any television out there. Bought mine at a local appliance store, which came bundled with a blu ray player and HDMI cables, surge protector, etc. for under 2k.
Compared it to plasmas which all seemed too dark to me. I even looked at a 58 inch Samsung plasma on the display which had burn in on the screen. The clerk said it had only been there a month. When the screen went dark you could see the burn in. That completely turned me off to plasma.
You cant go wrong with this tv for the money!

32 inch 1080P HD LCD TV

I was a little leery of ordering this new 2010 model that didn't yet have full specifications or other product information available. If it was any brand other than Toshiba, which I've had great experiences with, I would have waited or moved to a different product.

Anyway, I'm glad I did order this model 32E200U TV. Ordered from Amazon for a great price, it arrive in three days, in perfect packaging and brought right to my door by my friendly UPS driver. Unpacking and "assembly" was a snap - there really isn't much to do other than attach the stand, connect the cables, install the remote batteries, and turn it on. It asked a few simple set-up questions, scanned all my cable channels (finding some I didn't know I had access to), and was ready to go. The remote is super clear and simple to use, everything works, and the picture is great. Black is truely black, color is well balanaced, the image is bright, people and their clothes are their correct colors, and the sound is really quite good. We have a standard 480i cable connection, a 1080i upconverted DVD, laptop streaming NexFlix, and bluray. All work perfectly and switching between inputs is seemless. It has plenty of HDMI inputs (4) in addition to analog, digital, and cable.

Can't say much else, other that to strongly recommend this product. Buy it, you'll like everything about it.

I've had this for about two months now and I bought this together with Onkyo ht-s7200, briteview cinematube, and a sauder wall mount furniture. I also bought an inexpensive cheetah wallmount which I used to mount this to the sauder furniture. At first, I felt the TV was too big, I got a bit nauseous staring at it but I found out that it was just too bright. So after a couple of adjustments, it was easy to look at.

The TV is not really 240hz, the software only projects a 240hz but still the picture clarity is very good. Rated high in consumer reviews so I am glad I bought this one. The only thing I wish it had is an automatic picture adjustment to that if scene is in 4:3 it would automatically adjust to 16:9. There are a lot of features which I don't really use that much. Viewing angle is ok although it reflects some image from my window.

It's a perfect blend to my new Onkyo home theater. I enjoy watching movies again.
